iBook G4 British Keyboard

hi there,

to anyone looking for keymaps for the new iBook G4 British keyboard; i have
attached the console-data keymap (save as
/usr/share/keymaps/mac/ibookg4-british.kmap.gz). type `install-keymap
ibookg4-british` once to load and save the keys for good.) this keymapping was
written by George Wright <gwright@kde.org> and i performed a few minor edits to
make it agree with the MacOS behaviour.

also attached is the xkb extension file (save as
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/symbols/macintosh/gb_new). to use it add
  Option "XkbModel" "macintosh"
  Option "XkbLayout" "gb_new"
to the keyboard rules in your XF86Config file.

these files have been sent to the relevant package maintainers for hopeful
inclusion in the next release.

an annoying thing about this new Apple keyboard is that the # key is not marked
physically on any of the keys. it is bound in MacOS to AltGr+3 (even though
AltGr is marked as "alt" physically on the keyboard)

i have this setup working in the console and X for extended Latin-9 characters
(such as §±¤)

in MacOS, every key seems to have an AltGr binding... i did not have time to
create the full table for all the keys. this is just created from the keys which
are physically marked on the keyboard, plus ¢ and #.

cheers,
Sam
