Thanks for the advice. How do I make an initrd?

Use the mkinitrd command from the initrd-tools package. Make sure you
configure your bootloader to actually use the initrd.

Hi,

As we are to deal with the question: how to make a kernel including the initrd ? I am trying to get an initrd-enabled kernel to boot on a machine that does not have a bootloader (PPCBug).

TIA,

Jerome
