iMac 233: Internal mic

hi all,

i have a sarge with gnome installed in a iMac 233 - kernel 2.4.25 from 
benh.
It work fine and fast.

i need to record some audio files from the internal build-in 
microphone, but the micro wont work correctly. The micro work fine (i 
can hear it from the internal speackers) but i cannot record anything 
from it.

i need to record with the rec command like this:

$ rec -f s file1.wav  (this is working in my pbook g3)

and play with:

$ play file1.wav

From the gnome mixer i have try to checked too the Rec field, without 
success.

someone can help me?
