Compiling kernel 2.6 on sid
Hi,
I'm trying to compile the latest rsync'd benh 2.5 kernel (2.6.something) and I
have no luck whatsoever.
After installing my new kernel, when I try to boot it, I get an Openfirmware
error, of invalid memory access, and I get dumped at a strange OF prompt,
saying "type shut-down to shut down or similar"
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
A simple make, and copying vmlinux into /boot, and rerunning ybin...
I've tried using gcc-3.3 as well as 2.95, same result each time.
