Odd external mouse behavior on Powerbook

Hello guys. First, I'd like to thank everyone on this list for all their
help (especially Matthew Harrell): my Powerbook is now running a fully
installed, functional Debian (testing) installation. Second, I was
wondering if anyone had any ideas about one last little annoying issue.
In X-Windows, my trackpad functions beautifully, but my external mouse (a
Kensington retractable cord USB mouse) behaves in a very odd manner. It
is jumpy, often "refuses" to move directly to the right, and sometimes
jumps up to the top left of the screen for no apparent reason. Here is
the section of my XF86Config-4 file which corresponds to the mouse:

Section "InputDevice"
    Identifier "Mouse0"
    Driver "mouse"
    Option "CorePointer"
    Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
    Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
    Option "Emulate3Buttons""true"
    Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
EndSection

If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it. And thanks again for
everyone's help.
