Yesterday's patch seems to work (with limit to 60°C), though... It sets the CPU limit to 60°C. Here's another one that sets the CPU limit to 60°C, forces the fan to manual mode (as if fan_speed=128 was specified) if fan_speed isn't specified, and starts it at 50° (will go to full speed at 58°C).
