After a bit more tweaking and poking about with packages from
non-debian distros, I've come up with the following config.opts that
puts the magic smoke into my pcmcia slot:

include port 0x1000-0x10ff
include port 0x1400-0x14ff
include memory 0x80000000-0x80ffffff

My linksys wpc11 v2.5 now works nicely :)
