You mean mounting by UUID and/or label?

Using label is as easy as setting LABEL=the_label in the /etc/fstab
file, instead of specifying the device (i.e., in the first column of the
file).

The process is the same for UUIDs instead of labels, according to the
man page of fstab---I only have experience with labels and not with
UUIDs, BTW.
