Just a titbit. I dont think many Linux/OSX dual boot users at this time 
will have the probs I am having as the update that killed my Linux 
system is no longer available from Apple. It's been pulled.

Seems like quite a few OSX only users are having problems too.
Seems like I was too quick of the mark and took a bite of a rotten apple :-)
