I could be totally wrong here, but there are nvidia module packages in
testing...
nvidia-kernel-src (to compile the module against your kernel)
nvidia-glx (um, the other parts, no touching necessary)
There are instructions for compiling kernel modules (using drm-trunk.tar.gz)
