Remember these are volunteers on this list, who come home after
work and start working on Debian. So there is very often a delay
for responses.

I'm not familiar with the Apple bootloader, maybe you can figure out
how to set it - search google maybe? To boot the Debian installer, you
need to set root=/dev/ram and also specify to the bootloader the
ramdisk file (root.bin from the debian powermac archive).

You have the right kernel, the debian kernels won't work. But once
you get the installation booted, everything else under Linux from
the installation up should work with your kernel. You will always
need to use the mkLinux/Mach kernel with this NuBus machine.

Be sure to read the installation manual at the Debian website.
