Well, SA has a rules system plus a bayesian filter so apart from start working
from the very first day, it gets feedback from your "personalised" spam
messages. At least it works pretty well for me.

Wouldn't it be easy to use fetchmail and SA in conjunction? I know, you need
an MTA, but, debian has exim as its MTA default.
