next power up time, scheduled startup?, pmacpow does not work, nvram-wakeup?

Hello!

I just ran vdr (video disk recorder) on my good old beige G3 without a problem :-)

Now I have the next problem: How can I switch on the G3 at a given time?

My config:
MacOS 9.1 which starts BootX that start linux. (had big trouble with quiks)

First I tried pmacpow but this does not work at all. ftp://ppc.linux.or.jp/pub/users/toe/pmacpow-tool/

Than I tried to setup scheduled startup within MacOS ... this worked for 2 or 3 starts but after that the G3 does not automatically starts up anymore. I need to setup scheduled startup from within linux to make it possible for vdr to switch on the G3 at a given time and record a TV-show to harddisk. Of course shutdown after recording is no problem ;-)

As always "I am not a programer so I can not fix this by my self .... :-("

Maybe someone can give me a hint why pmacpow does not work or maybe it is better to support http://sourceforge.net/projects/nvram-wakeup on PPC.

Bye, thanks,
Christoph
