Re: sid audio problem xmms & artsdsp

I fixed the bug in xmms-arts for my own usage.  I tried to email the
package maintainer and never got any response.

If you are interested in using xmms-arts, you can do so with this patch:

http://starsky.ee.ucla.edu/~boykin/patches/xmms-arts-bigendian-patch.bz2

All it does is reverse the endianism of the audio on big endian systems.
It should work fine on little and big endian systems.

If you apply the patch, you will have to do aclocal && autoconf &&
automake.

It should work then (I am not yet an expert on the autotools stuff).
