The quick'n'dirty solution is to use --force-overwrite, the cleaner one
to disable the DRM in the kernel.

Once the new DRM is installed, the DRI should work.


PS: You're aware that the r128 DRI would also work with XFree86 4.1 or
4.2 and the DRM from the kernel?
