Boot problem

Hay,

i have changed the boot logo (little tux) in the 2.4.19-pre10-ben0
kernel (on my 500Mhz iBook2 with 128MB Ram).

The logo is created by the fblogo program from the Debian GNU/Linux
packagage fblogo. And the Image size is 1024x768 with 223 colors.
The instructions on the fblogo man-page says that you only have to
change on drivers/video/fbcon.c the image resolution.
The location of the header file linux_logo.h (which is created by
fblogo) is includes/linux/ in the kernel source tree.
The compiled kernel-image size is 3,8MB.

I'm use the yaboot bootloader.
Hm, i think the kernel boot goes well (there are no message but the boot
logo), but the init doesn't work!?
The resolution and colors on the screen ot the image is ok.

xmon shows the following message at boot:

vector: 300 at pc = c0043d08, lr = c0043cff
msr = 9032, sp = c7f81ee0 [c7f81e30]
dar = 2007200f, dsirl = 40000000
current = c7f80000, pid = 1, comm = swapper

I press'd "x" and become a kernel panic with the message that the system
reboot in 180 seconds...

Can you tel me where is the "bug"?
Where can i get a documentation for the xmon?

thnkx!!
Kai Lauterbach

PS: Does anybody know the SUSE splashscreen and where i can get it?
I don't like SUSE Linux but the splashscreen is veri nice... ;)

PPS: Please excuse my bad english! ;)
