select powerpc
select 4th quarter 2001 and more recent
scroll to Problems with SMP and click
switch to the thread view
check out benh's response
The upshot is, you need a version of MacOS prior to 7.5.1 or so to make it
work with BootX (before MacOS knew about dual processors).
