Probably the floppy has been degraded. Have you re-burned it?
You only really need boot-floppy-hfs and root to get the installer
started.
Do you have the machine set up to boot into Debian automatically now?
Because the boot-floppy-hfs is a Mac startup disk; if quik is booting
you right into Debian, you will need to break into OpenFirmware
(Cmd-Opt-O-F) and type bye (with the floppy in the drive) to get it
to boot from the floppy again.
