Re: modem in new TiPB and iBooks ?
Hmmmmmm, the driver appears to be for PCI devices. The modem in the more
recent iBooks appears to be a USB device. At least, fiddling the hardware to
power up the modem causes a new USB device to appear and attach to one of the
internal USB ports:

hub.c: USB new device connect on bus2/2, assigned device number 3
usb.c: USB device 3 (vend/prod 0x5ac/0x8202) is not claimed by any active driver.
