I'm working just fine with this setup. ibook2 + airport to a WAP11
accesspoint. I've even gotten it working with encryption.

the kernel I'm using has version 0.09b of the driver, which does have
issues with frequent "TX timeout" messages (and a mention of fixing
them in the TODO list).

I have noticed that the WAP11 needs to be powercycled every few days
(sometimes daily) because things will just mysteriously quit working
(with no error messages). I haven't looked into firmware upgrades for
it.
