Actaully, 'thousands of colors'.

I think I was unclear. As of now (using fbdev driver, bit depth of 16),
1024x768 is not being rejected. It says that 1024x768 mode is ok (as well
as the other lower resolutions). I just get a message that says "virtual
size is 1024x768 (pitch 1024)" BTW, the log also shows that I have 2047k
of video mem.
