ibook running with lid closed



hi.
i got a ibook dual usb 500mhz and i try to make it stay turned on while the
lid is closed (with the pmud -k option), but after exactly 4 minutes with
the lid closed it automatically shuts down.

i stopped pmud and pbbuttonsd and the same thing happened, so i think its
something to do with the kernel, maybe the via-pmu.c module.

someone mentioned it could be the graphic card, since pmud -k seems to work
on ibooks with ati radeon 16/32mb vram, but not on ati rage 8mb vram ibooks
and below..
