ADSL problem with Kernel 2.4.18

Hi,

I recently changed my kernel from 2.2.19 to 2.4.18 newpmac
on a pismo powerbook.

I have a problem with my ADSL connection. It worked (and still works) when
with 2.2.19 and I have problems with 2.4.18 : a ping gives no result.

As you can see below inet addr for ppp0 are different so I suppose that
the connection works.

What did I wrong ???
