Do I need a special kernel ? I'm running a custom 2.4.9 kernel at the moment. I've tried the latest debian packaged 2.4 kernels but they all seem to barf at some point (can't remember at what point at the moment). The only thing that might be different in my kernel is the devfs options. I'd prefer to run the latest 2.4 kernel if possible (2.4.18 I think is the latest).

Cheers,
Brendan Simon.
