you've lost the yaboot
when you have finished the mac os x reinstall, boot the ibook with ctrl-
apple-o-f and boot hd:12,yaboot
12 is the partition number of your linux boot drive
then you can write the new yaboot with ybin
make sure you have add the line

macosx=/dev/hda9 in /etc/yaboot.conf
