first, thanks, secondly, next problem is sleep

let me give a big thanks to everyone who has helped me in the last week. my
keymappings are all tightened down, and my eth's are working wonderfully. so
thanks. this list is very enlightening.

so now, i am trying to figure out why when i shut the lid on my ibook2 it
beeps at me quite rudely. with the "sleep not implemented" error.

i do have pmud & pmud-utils installed, on the 2.4.18-newpmac kernel.

if i need to recompile, does the debian kernel-package work for ppc? and the
benh kernels & rsyncing--would someone politely post a link to a guide?

or, if i do not need to recompile, what do i need to do so that my laptop
will sleep correctly?
