There is plenty of support for debian.  Try posting to
debian-user@lists.debian.org  It is a higher traffic list that will get
a better response.  If you are referring to a bug in the install process
where you get stuck in an infinite loop, this is a known problem that
has been fixed.  Remember this is extremely close to the woody release
so some people are really busy, this especially applies to porters such
as the powerpc porters who most likely populate this list.  Just try
debian-user, you will most likely get help with your problem.  Remember
all the people here are volunteers who do thier best to create the best
distro around.
