when i was using a 2.2.19 kernel, i used to get that message every time i
booted up. never had a problem with external SCSI bus on this thing tho. the
kernel was booting from the ext SCSI bus for a long time (well, a few weeks)
even. the ext SCSI bus was properly to my knowledge, since there is an _old_
relisys scanner on the end of that (logical) chain.

my 1/2 cent,
eric
