As I've said in another message, I can't use the option key as it is
used to emulate a mouse button. I can use the alt key (<fn><option>)
but it doesn't work to switch the console.

I've found something interesting: when I press the apple key, nothing
happens, but when I press <fn><apple>, I get the error

  keyboard: unknown scancode e0 5e
