When I tried that one, all I could get was 640x480. I got a message saying
that 1024x768 wouldn't work (shouldn't it?), and 800x600 lookes "screwy".

I'm using a Sony Trinitron Multiscan200sf monitor, if that makes a
difference.

When I used the deb-reconfigure xserver-xfree86, I selected the "medium"
selection for setting up the xserver. I'll play some more, but would still
appreciate any input.

Thanks, again.
