I wonder what this is about anyway?  Why doesn't it find an address?
'B' doesn't have one, but 'A' does, so why is it using 'B'?

Just out of curiousity, would you mind sending an strace of a
successful run to the list:

ashland:/home/davidw# strace -o foobar ./m3mirror lcd:0 crt:1

the part that's interesting starts here:

open("/dev/fb0", O_RDONLY)              = 4

I would be curious to see what's going on.
