2.4.5-pre3-benh and 604-MP segfaults
Hello!
I´m trying to get a 2.4.5 kernel to run on a 7300 / 604 MP Mac for a week.
Just synced from penguinppc the linux-2.4-benh-kernel and compiled it.
The kernel got hung during syslogd startup and prints something about
seg-fault in /etc.../rc
But since today it goes on and boots to the login-prompt.

Someone knows what this is? (BTW the time above is not correct, do not
know why, the time in MacOS is correct and timezone is also correct)
Startup of syslogd hangs for about 5 minutes, seg-faults and than goes on.
Why does the syslogd crashes?
I have a kernel 2.4.2 running but with broken hfs-support so I want to
compile a new kernel
Just tried "man date" and got "Reformatting date(1), please wait..." for ever.
Looks that there is something broken with SMP and 2.4.5
