Not really, since the Airport card is not seen as a PCMCIA device as far
as Linux is concerned. (I still think it is attached to a PC-Card
controller.... but I can't prove that ;-). Plus, it needs to be
supported on models that definitivels have _no_ PCMCIA support, i.e.
iMac and desktops.
In the beginning of Airport support under Linux, it was handled by some
PCMCIA drivers, but that has changed recently into a standalone driver.

>From the introduction of the Airport stuff onwards, all new Mac models
can have an Airport card. That includes the Pismo, TiBook, all iBooks,
some iMacs (don't know from when on exactly), and some desktop systems.
