which is wrong.

CONFIG_RTC  *MUST* be completly disabled, not a module, not compiled
in, it must be OFF.

ask the kernel developers.  apparently there are some powerpc varients
that use CONFIG_RTC instead of CONFIG_PPC_RTC.  the majority require
CONFIG_PPC_RTC and NOT CONFIG_RTC.
