Re: X doesn't start after weekly apt-get upgrade



Check the list archive for yesterday. I had the same problem, and a generous 
soul sent me this tidbit...
[There's] a known bug with the latest XFree86 Xsession
setup scripts. Edit /etc/X11/Xsession.d/99xfree86-common_start, and change

    exec "$REALSTARTUP"

to

    exec $REALSTARTUP

and it'll work fine. <snip>
