Hi,
thanks a lot for that, X works now. I couldn't get any of the modelines in
XF86Config to work though and had to use
...
Section "Screen"
Driver "FBDev"
Device "Linux Frame Buffer Device"
Monitor "LCD Panel"
DefaultColorDepth 8
SubSection "Display"
Depth 32
Modes "default"
EndSubSection
EndSection
The Xserver seems to be rather slow. Is that expected?
I also tried
Mode "1024x768"
# D: 64.994 MHz, H: 48.359 kHz, V: 59.998 Hz
DotClock 64.995
HTimings 1024 1085 1221 1344
VTimings 768 771 777 806
Flags "-HSync" "-VSync"
EndMode
but that lead to a complete freeze, kernel and all. I got this from
"fbset -x". It looks like a sensible modeline for the StudioDisplay Flat
Panel Display we have.
Cheers, Stefan
