A "Me too": on StarMax (pmac 4400 clone, 603e-160), 2.2.14 doesn't even start
atyfb (onboard Mach64) or offb (unsupported Cirrus Logic MacPicasso). Quik
(2.0-2) segfaults on me, corrupting my boot blocks, with or without 2.2.14 in
quik.conf, but booting vmlinux.coff on the floppy crashes too with the OF error
message below. 2.2.15pre1 from floppy fails in exactly the same way.

DEFAULT CATCH!, code=FFF00600 at   %SRR: 003FFEC8   %SRR1: 00003040

One other question: I'm getting supremely slow IDE performance (< 1 MB/s) on a
pretty nice drive with 2.2.13. Should I be using different DMA kernel config
options from the ones below, or is pmac IDE just that bad?

#
# Block devices
#
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_FD is not set
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDE=y

#
# Please see Documentation/ide.txt for help/info on IDE drives
#
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_HD_IDE is not set
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDEDISK=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDECD=y
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDETAPE is not set
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDEFLOPPY is not set
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDESCSI is not set
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_CMD640 is not set
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_RZ1000 is not set
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDEPCI=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDEDMA=y
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_OFFBOARD is not set
CONFIG_IDEDMA_AUTO=y
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_OPTI621 is not set
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_TRM290 is not set
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_NS87415 is not set
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_VIA82C586 is not set
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_CMD646 is not set
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_SL82C105 is not set
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDE_PMAC=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDEDMA_PMAC=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDEDMA=y
CONFIG_PMAC_IDEDMA_AUTO=y
# CONFIG_IDE_CHIPSETS is not set

To wander still further from the original question, I just solved my buttons
problem: the kernel line should be adb_buttons=58:52 not 58,52. This puts the
center and right buttons on the left and right alt/option keys respectively.
