Actually, i was talking about just providing the setup necessary for handling
accels, not the accel stuff themself. Just the _init functions and such. This
way maybe people will no more feel too afraid to work on it.

But you told me this same thing one year ago, ...
Since then there as been 3 3.3.x releases and 3.9.x don't even build on ppc i
heard. Not that i tried it myself, since i lack disk space for it right now.

Also, I think playing with 3.3.x can be a good learning experience, before
switching over to 3.9.X, and so i can tell people complaining about the
unaccelerated Fbdev Xserver, to wait for 3.9.x, or to implement it themselves.

BTW, do you know if the FB vs. CFB speed thread from xfree-devel is fbdev
related ? or is it some other stuff ? I hear it was developped on mips
originally ?
