I wrote a How-to kinda thing for LinuxPPC (RedHat style) a while back that
can be found at

Stuff for Debian will be slightly different (namely the GUI tools). But
there is a trick with the serial ports there that will also probably be
needed.

Give us a yell with any comments/queries

P.S. Since XOOM moved to NBCi i've noticed everything has gone sucky - so if
anyone knows of a good web provider (i don't mind paying a little) - give us
a mail too.
