Duh. I got internal compiler errors, and in some cases, strange
differences between LilyPond-ppc and LilyPond-i386 output. Much
better than what we had two years ago, though, when we had to
program around gcc-ppc bugs. Grand work is being done, and I
want to benefit from that now!
