Re: How to get proposed-updates.
Don't worry I figured it out. I didn't have a trailing / after propose-updates.
ie. I had
deb http://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/debian dists/proposed-updates
instead of
deb http://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/debian dists/proposed-updates/
