I think it's probably PPC only (after all, if it affected x86
systems, it would have been fixed long ago, just based on the
numbers).  It was reported to the Debian BTS by Goswin Brederlow
<mrvn@student.uni-tuebingen.de> and assigned #61988.  The BTS
reports that it was forwarded upstream, so maybe it's been fixed
for XFree86 4.X....
