Yes, I had the exact same problem.
Oh, do you have any idea, as to why I get corrupted graphics(text,bitmaps)
with some programs when I use the new xserver? I could send you a grab, if
you need, meanwhile, just think of extreme slanting, as if each line is
moved one pixel right off the one above it :)
