DailySet1 AMANDA MAIL REPORT FOR August 16, 1999 (fwd)
Since a few days, amanda-2.4.0-3 gives me the following error messages when
dumping /dev/sdb4 (/export/home0):

I cannot reproduce the error messages by using
tar cf /dev/null /export/home0
I couldn't even find where the output `time_t value' nor `too large' is
generated in the tar-1.13.6-1 sources.
Then I tried the Amanda sources (2.4.1p1 in unstable, PPC binaries seem to lag
behind, and amanda-2.4.0b6 from ftp.amanda.org (on which 2.4.0-3 is based)).
No success.
Running e2fsck on the partition shows no errors, and the problem persists.
Anyone with an idea what's causing this? Where should I report this? All other
partitions don't give problems.
And I don't like having one partition without a backup, for obvious reasons...
