Re: XFree86 just broke on PB3400 (Fri 5/28/99 AM (US))
Hi, everyone--

Data point: X is still broken on a PB3400, too.
I did an apt-get upgrade a few hours after receiving Hartmut's message,
which brought the fonts packages to 3.3.3.1-4 and the xserver packages to
3.3.3.1-5. startx (even when issued as root) still leads to a blanked
screen, then the X in the center, then within ~1s a fall back to the
console. (Error text below.) AFAIK, I'm using the exact same X settings
that worked through Thu 5/27/99.
Q: Are the fonts/xserver packages that were current on Thu 5/27/99 (US)
still available? If so, where?
(Because, alas, I didn't copy them to a secure place.)
