Sorry for the noise, but as you are clearly misattributing this to me (I am part of the project, so "the whole project" includes me):
I am not, and do not want to, move bugs and patches to Git and Salsa. I consider it a huge advantage of Debian that I can contribute limitless with something as barrierfree as an e-mail.
If you voice your opinion, please do not impose it on me. Thanks!
