Source: developers-reference Severity: normal Section 6.4 "Nest practices for maintainer script" has a pathfind() function which it suggests copy & pasting into maintainer scripts. It suggests "which" as an alternative that requires /usr. I think "best practices" and "copy and paste this function" are contradictionary. Given that /usr is *always* available when maintainer scripts are run, using `which` should be just fine. Ansgar
