debhelper does this just fine for the vast majority of packages, with
texlive being an outlier for python shebangs (as well as perl ones). For
reference:
- lintian (correctly) says that texlive-extra-utils is missing a python
dependency
- once added, lintian will also (correctly) say that src:texlive-extra
should use dh_python*.
Once done, these shebangs would be rewritten.
