I agree with Cyril and Sune as well.

This morning I wrote a point-to-point rebuttal to the list of links that Bill
sent, but gave up sending it because I found that it was too confrontational,
in the sense that rationale thinking about points of details is not going the
solve the main problem, that more about communication and compromise.

Bill, we need your cooperation to resolve our disagreements and close the
issue.  In the absence of a clear description of what you consider acceptable
and what you consider unacceptable, discussion is difficult, to say the least.

The Debian menu is 1) not installed by default and 2) not displayed by default.
In my opinion, the Policy needs to reflect this.  What is your position ?
