Hi Wouter,

the problem with this bug (#701081) is that we do not even have an agreement on
what the problem is.  And without a problem, it is hard to find a solution. 

What frustrates me in this discussion is that it is too theoretical and not
focused on the current practice, whether we should document it or not, whether
we should change it or not (if we can), and whether people are satisfied with
one of the proposed outcome, or with a status quo.

I think that it is fair to the reporter to acknowledge that we are failing to
address his issue.

I will close this bug next week unless somebody refuses clearly.  And in that
case, I would like to read in the same message his or her thoughts on how to
solve this bug.
